Cavs Win High-Scoring Affair Against Celtics
Boston Falls in Overtime Thriller
The Cleveland Cavaliers defeated the Boston Celtics 132-123 in overtime on Tuesday night at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse. The game was tied at 113 at the end of regulation, and the Cavs outscored the Celtics 19-10 in the extra period.

The Celtics led by as many as 12 points in the first half, but the Cavs rallied to take a 62-59 lead at halftime. The Celtics regained the lead in the third quarter, but the Cavs again rallied to tie the game at 91 heading into the fourth quarter.
In the fourth quarter, the teams traded baskets and the lead several times. The Celtics took a 113-109 lead with just over a minute remaining, but the Cavs' Darius Garland hit a three-pointer to tie the game with 20 seconds left.
In overtime, the Cavs took control of the game. Garland hit another three-pointer to give the Cavs a 118-113 lead, and the Celtics were never able to get closer than three points.
Highlights
Garland led the Cavs with 32 points, including 6-of-12 from three-point range. Donovan Mitchell added 29 points for the Cavs, and Jarrett Allen had 22 points and 11 rebounds.
Jayson Tatum led the Celtics with 30 points, followed by Jaylen Brown with 27 points and Marcus Smart with 20 points.
